Rotala indica 'Bonsai' is a compact and slowly growing stem plant similar to a miniature version of Bacopa caroliniana. It is particularly suitable for nanoaquariums or as a low foreground plant in larger layouts. With frequent trimming, the plant becomes dense and low, and replanted cuttings can be used to create an even fuller expression. Under bright light the top shoots receive a discreet reddish tone, while lower light gives a more open growth.
