Lobelia cardinalis is a decorative stem plant from North America, which changes expression according to growing place. In the aquarium the leaves get a bright, fresh green color, and the plant forms full groups with a nice, uniform structure. In open aquariums it can grow up above the water surface, where leaves become darker and can form almost scarlet flowers. It is often used in classic "plant leaves" in Dutch aquariums and can also be used in garden mats. Delivered as live pot plant in breathable blister packaging.
