Anubias' Mini Coin 'is a variant of Anubia's barteri found at the aquarium plant artneri Tropica in Denmark. The plant is among the smallest Anubias, each leaf less than a pinky. It is as easy to grow as its originator, and thus does not enjoy bright light. Anubias' Mini Coin 'thrives best attached to stones and tree nuts in the aquarium.

If planted in the ground layer, the creeping stem (rhizomet) must not be covered, as this may cause the plant to rot and die. Anubias' Mini Coin 'is willingly branching and will form a dense cushion of small, round, deep green leaves. If the plant becomes too dense, it can be gently divided and the new plants can be placed elsewhere in the aquarium. It is obvious to use in nanoaquariums, but can also contribute to the small details of a larger aquariums.
