Aquarium Soil ensures good and active growth from the beginning, and it gives an extra boost to the red shades on the plants. It is a complete bottom layer that can be used without using other types of bottom layer. Aquarium Soil is also an active ground layer that lowers pH and weakly affects water chemistry. Therefore we recommend a minimum of 2 weekly water changes (25-50% of the water) for the first 4 weeks after the aquarium has started up.
