If you want to extend the feed range further, you can supplement the basic feed JBL PRONOVO BEL with other types of feed from JBL's species concept and with treats.

JBL PRONOVO BEL is the perfect basic feed for all omnivorous fish and fish communities. With a protein-fat ratio of 6.3: 1, exactly the ratio ideal for most tropical fish species is achieved. A higher fat content may lead to fat degeneration in the bodies of hot water fish (23-30 ° C).

In fish communities - as in most company varieties - the 15 main ingredients of PRONOVO BEL constitute a perfect nutritional foundation, which can (but does not need) be supplemented with animal feed to adapt and extend the diet to individual species. It doesn't matter if your fighting fish, for example, also eat the feed for your barbs and vice versa. The most important thing is that you offer the right feed type for each group of fish. Variation is always an advantage.

However, it is important to choose a feed size appropriate to the size of the mouth of the fish. Flakes soften quickly and can be eaten by almost all fish species. Granules are different - here it is the smallest mouth size in the aquarium that determines which size to choose. On the cans you will find the indication of the size of the fish to which the feed fits, at the bottom left. It is better to choose a feed that is a little too small than one that is too large.

About garlic:
Fish obviously do not know garlic from their natural habitats. But observations from the JBL expeditions in the South American Pantanal showed that fish reject underwater plants and instead jump out of the water to eat the seemingly more tasty leaves from shrubs and trees along the shore. These leaves contain more flavouring substances than the "slimy" underwater leaves. It is precisely this effect that the addition of garlic gives.
