Frontline Pour-On Vet for cats

Frontline Pour-On kills ticks, fleas and lice on cats. Frontline Pour on contains the active substance friponil, which kills fleas, ticks and lice via the central nervous system.

How Frontline pour on works
Fipronil affects the nervous system of all insects and mites with exoskeleton (shell of insect and mite). Therefore, only one means is needed to kill both ticks, fleas and lice. Fipronil is absorbed by the sebaceous glands of the skin and is then continuously released after treatment.

Use of flea in pipettes
Fleet-& amp; fleas in pipette are most often applied in the neck, so your cat cannot lick the product off. The product usually works within 12-48 hours. Be aware to purchase a product specifically intended for dogs or cats, with the correct weight class, so that your pet is properly covered. This text is for guidance, you should always read the package leaflet and follow the instructions for the product.

Power of Frontline Pour on to Cat

Fleets
The fleet records fipronil passively when it sits in the animal's fur. When the tick has absorbed a sufficiently high dose of fipronil, it usually dies within 48 hours of contact with the substance. After treatment, dogs are protected from ticks for up to 5 weeks and cats for up to 4 weeks.

Fleas
The flea records fipronil in the same way as the tick, but dies already within 24 hours of contact with the substance. After treatment, dogs are protected from adult fleas for up to 8 weeks and cats for up to 5 weeks.

Security
Frontline Pour- On can be used on all cats and dogs older than 8 weeks of age, including pregnant and lactating animals. It is specially designed for cats and dogs and should not be used in other animals.

Indications:
Prevention and treatment of flea and lice attacks in dogs and cats and tick attacks in dogs. Treatment of cat tick infestations. May be included in the treatment of allergic eczema caused by fleas. Can be used in pregnant and lactating animals.

Contraindications:
Do not use in sick or denied animals. Do not use in rabbits. Do not use with other fleas.

Adverse reactions:
Very rarely, transient skin reactions at the application site (skin discolouration, local hair loss, itching, flushing), general skin itching and hair loss can be seen. Exceptionally, saliva, reversible nervous symptoms, vomiting and respiratory symptoms can be seen.

Caution:
Bathing with water within 2 days and more frequently than once a week after treatment should be avoided. In repeated shampoos, the duration of action is reduced. Avoid animals licking at the treatment site and animals licking each other after treatment. Care should be taken to avoid treated animals until the treatment site is dry. The adhesion of individual ticks may occur. Avoid contact with the mouth and eyes. Wash hands after use. The preparation may cause irritation of mucous membranes, skin and eyes. Animals or people with known hypersensitivity to insecticides or alcohol should avoid contact with the product. EXP See also instructions for use on the pack.

Frontline Vet. spray (fipronil 2.5 mg / ml) effectively protects against fleas in dogs and cats for up to 2 months and against ticks in dogs for up to 4 weeks. Can be used for puppies and kittens from 2 days of age. Dosage: 3-6 ml / kg depending on the length of coat. Overdose: In overdose, nervous symptoms, depression and saliva can be seen. In case of severe overdose, wash the animal thoroughly with shampoo immediately after treatment. Packs: pump spray of 100 ml and 250 ml.

Frontline Pour-On Vet. (fipronil 100 mg / ml) effectively protects against fleas for up to 2 months in dogs and for up to 5 weeks in cats and against ticks for up to 4 weeks in dogs and cats. Pour-On should not be used in dogs and cats under 8 weeks of age.

Dosage:

For cat: 1 pipette of 0,5 ml.

For dogs:
1 pipette of 0,67 ml up to 10 kg
1 pipette of 1,34 ml from 10 to 20 kg
1 pipette of 2,68 ml from 20-40 kg

Packs: For each pipette size, 6 pipettes: 0,5 ml, 0,67 ml, 1,34 ml and 2,68 ml.
