Power of Frontline Combo Vet for dogs over 40 kg

Fleets
The fleet is only affected by fipronil and absorbs the substance passively when it sits on the animal's fur. When the tick has absorbed a sufficiently high dose of fipronil, it usually dies within 48 hours of contact with the substance. After treatment, dogs and ferrets are protected from ticks for up to 4 weeks.

Fleas
The flea records fipronil in the same way as the tick, but dies already within 24 hours of contact with the substance. The (S) methoprene also prevents the larvae and eggs from developing into new fleas. After treatment, dogs are protected from fleas for up to 8 weeks.

Security
Frontline Combo Vet is approved for use in pregnant and lactating dogs. It can be used on puppies from 8 weeks of age. Puppies should weigh at least 2 kg. The product is specially developed dogs and should not be used in other animals. NB! Frontline should not be used in rabbits.

Use of flea in pipettes
Fleas in pipettes are most often applied in the neck, so your dog cannot lick the product off. The product usually works within 12-48 hours. Be aware to purchase a product specifically intended for dogs or cats, with the correct weight class, so that your pet is properly covered. Frontline Combo Vet is a product for use on the skin against fleas and ticks. The solution contains a combination of an active substance with adulticide properties, fipronil, and an active substance with ovicide and larvicide properties (S) -methoprene.

Indications:
Treatment of infestations of fleas, ticks and biting lice in dogs and cats, as well as attacks of fleas and ticks in sources. Protects against new attacks of adult fleas for up to 8 weeks in dogs and 4 weeks in cats and ferrets. Prevent the reproduction of fleas by inhibiting the development of eggs (ovicide effect) and larvical and puppies (larvicide effect) from eggs laid by adult fleas for up to 8 weeks in dogs and 6 weeks in cats. The effect on ticks lasts for up to 4 weeks in dogs and ferrets and 2 weeks in cats. May be included in the treatment of allergic eczema caused by flea infestations. Minimum treatment interval is 4 weeks. Can be used in pregnant and lactating dogs and pregnant cats.

Contraindications:
Do not use in dogs under 8 weeks of age and / or 2 kg, cats under 8 weeks of age and / or 1 kilo, and oxidizers under 6 months of age. Do not use in sick or denied animals. Do not use in rabbits. The product in dogs should not be used in cat / source as this may lead to overdose. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients.

Method of administration:For external use.

Dosage:

For dogs:
1 pipette Ó 0,67 ml from 2-10 kg;
1 pipette Ó 1,34 ml from 10-20 kg;
1 pipette Ó 2,68 ml from 20-40 kg;
1 pipette Ó 4.02 ml for dogs above 40 kg body weight.

For cats and ferrets:
1 pipette Ó 0.5 ml. Other animals in the household should also be treated with an appropriate product. Attention. There is a difference in the strength of the product to dogs and to cat / source.

Adverse reactions:
Very rare side effects observed after use include: transient skin reactions at the application site (skin discolouration, local hair loss, itching, redness), and general itching and hair loss. Also pronounced saliva, reversible nervous symptoms (increased sensitivity to touch, depression, other nervous symptoms), and vomiting and respiratory symptoms have been observed. If the animal licks at the application site, excessive saliva may occur. Transient changes in the appearance of the coat can be seen at the application site (tangled / oily coat).

Caution:
Bathing within 2 days and more frequently than once a week after treatment should be avoided. In repeated shampoos, the duration of action is reduced. There are no data on the possibility of toxicity of the preparation in kittens younger than 8 weeks in contact with treated mothers. Avoid animals licking at the treatment site and animals licking each other after treatment. Care should be taken to treat treated animals until the treatment site is dry. The adhesion of individual ticks may occur. Avoid contact with the mouth and eyes. Wash hands after use. The preparation may cause irritation of mucous membranes, skin and eyes.
