How Front spot works
Frontect is absorbed by the sebaceous glands of the skin and is then released continuously after treatment. The active substances fipronil and permethrin affect the nervous system of ticks, fleas, mosquitoes, sandflies and punctures. They're passively recording it when they're in the animal's fur. So they don't have to bite to die. Once they take a sufficient dose of Frontex, they die.

Method of administration - Spot-on use.
Select correct pipette size according to the dog's weight. For dogs over 60 kg, use the combination of two pipette sizes that are best suited to body weight.
The preparation should be applied in two places where the dog cannot lick. These places are right in front of the shoulder blades and in the neck between the head and shoulder blades.
Remove the blister from the pack and separate 1 blister. Remove the pipette by cutting along the dotted line with scissors or by breaking off the foil after bending the marked corner. Hold the pipette vertically and away from the face - it opens by cutting the tip off with a scissors. Share the fur in the dog's neck until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and press the pipette to apply approximately half of the contents mid-neck between the head and shoulder blades. Repeat the application just in front of the shoulder blades to empty the pipette. Make sure that the product is applied directly to the skin and not to the fur to achieve the best result.

Security
For use in dogs over 8 weeks of age and weighing more than 2 kg. Do not administer to pregnant or lactating dogs.
The preparation is for dogs only. Do not use in cats or rabbits as this may cause side effects and possibly death.

Front (fipronil / permetrin) spot-on solution for dogs. Ectoparasites for external use.

Indication:Treatment and prevention of fleas and / or ticks requiring repellating effects against sandy mosquitoes, puncture flies and / or mosquitoes.

Effect:Preparately kills existing fleas within 24 hours and prevents new flea attacks for 4 weeks. Repelleting ticks at least 7 days and up to 4 weeks after treatment. However, individual ticks can be attached and let go within the first 24 hours of the infection station. Has immediate killing effect against ticks. If ticks are present when prepared, it is not certain that they are all killed within 48 hours. Sustained killing effect against ticks for 4 weeks. Repellant and persistent insecticide action against sandflies for 3 weeks and persistent insecticide action and mosquitoes for 4 weeks. Repelling and killing sticks for 5 weeks.

Adverse reactions:Very rarely, transient mild skin reactions at the application site and general itching and hair loss have been observed after use. Expressed saliva, transient symptoms of increased sensitivity to touch, hyperactivity, muscle tremor, depression and other nervous symptoms. Vomiting has been observed after use. If the dog licks at the application site, severe saliva and vomiting can be seen.

Caution:This medicinal product is for use in dogs only. Do NOT use in cats or rabbits as side effects including fatalities may occur. Not recommended for dogs under 8 weeks of age or for dogs weighing less than 2 kg. The effect on fleas is not affected even if the animal occasionally becomes wet (swimming, bath). However, dogs should not swim or wash with shampoo within 48 hours of treatment.
